Monuments of the village of Nižná Boca

WHERE BEHIND HISTORY?

Monuments of the village of Nižná Boca

A late classicist evangelical church has been standing in Nižná Boca since 1844, to which a neo-Romanesque tower was added a century later. The interesting thing about the church is the ceiling with a miner’s badge and paintings of miners reminding of the importance that mining had for the village and its surroundings.

In addition, in the village you will see several log houses with shingle roofs dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, the oldest of which dates back to 1710. Thanks to these houses, part of Nižná Boca has the status of a Protected Monument Zone of Folk Architecture.
